- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup softened butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 (3oz.) Packet of Jell-O
Directions:
- Beat butter and sugar together
- Add egg white and vanilla
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, and baking powder then combine with butter mixture.
- Divide dough in half and knead one small box of Jell-O into each half.
- Shape into balls and flatten onto an ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart with a spoon or fork.
- Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
- Let cool for a couple of minutes before removing the cookie from the sheet
Notes: These were pretty sweet to me and had an interesting texture. They look a lot like play-doh and are very bright in color. I would recommend using half of a large Jell-O packet or a small Jell-O packet for the entire batch instead of using two packets. I also mixed in the Jell-O powder with the flour and baking powder.
