BBQ Jack Pots

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 TBSP dried minced onion
  • 2 TBSP brown sugar
  • 10 refrigerated biscuits (such as Hungry Jack Big Flaky Biscuits)
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
  • Brown ground beef with onion in a skillet and drain.
  • Add BBQ sauce and brown sugar.
  • Roll out biscuits and place in ungreased muffin cups.
  • Spoon meat mixture into cups.
  • Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake at 400 for 10-15 minutes.

Notes: This is one of my husband's favorites. I usually omit the brown sugar and use Sweet Baby Ray's Honey BBQ sauce. I also use ground turkey and use onion powder then also add some garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce. Can be made as a main dish or as a side.
