Hot Caramel Apple Cider

Ingredients

  • 4 mug's worth of apple cider
  • 1 mug's worth of caramel vodka (or however much you want)
  • 1 TBSP cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
Directions
  • Mix all ingredients above in a large pot
  • Heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally until liquid just begins to steam (over heating will burn off the alcohol)
  • While cider is warming up, take your mugs or glasses and rim with brown sugar
  • Pour cider into rimmed mugs, serve and enjoy
Notes: I only used about a TBSP of brown sugar and think that was plenty! I also used less caramel vodka than a full mug's worth as the end result with the recipe as is was a tad too sweet for my taste.
