Ingredients
- 10 Apples (peeled, cored, and cubed)
- 1/2 cup sugar (or as much/little as you want, not even needed if using sweet apples)
- 1 TBSP cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup water
Directions
- Throw everything into the crock-pot
- Cook on high for 1 hour
- Cook on low for 6 hours, stirring occasionally
- If you don't like a chunky applesauce, simply blend it before serving
Notes: I used less sugar and less water and added some caramel vodka. Alcohol burns off and you are left with a hint of caramel. Best served warm
