Crock-pot BBQ Beer Chicken

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 large)
  • 1 TBSP onion powder
  • 1 TBSP smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 8 oz beer
  • 32 oz BBQ sauce
Directions
  • Season chicken with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Add to crock-pot
  • Add beer and 24 oz of BBQ sauce
  • Cook on low for 8 hours
  • Remove chicken, shred, and return to crock-pot
  • Add remaining BBQ sauce. Stir until well combined
  • Let sit for 10-15 minutes before serving
Notes: If using a thicker BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby Ray's, for example), don't use as much or the end result will be really thick.
